Panning Mod adds a single recipe to the game, gravel over water bucket, that gives you flint. Now, as water buckets do not stack it would take quite alot of time/work to convert a stack of gravel to flint, but it works 100%. No more pillarring up a whole gravel stack and only getting a few flints to show for digging your way back down.
